Are liquid probiotics effective?

We get amazing reviews every day about how effective our probiotic is and we are working on trials that will help us to prove this. Because our probiotic is derived from nature and not made in a lab this process is slightly harder but we’re working on it!

How should I take liquid probiotics?

It’s easy. Just pour out a spoonful or a capful, or use our helpful shot glass, and drink it.

If you want to mix it with a smoothie or a juice then you can – just don’t mix it with anything too hot or too cold. We like to make a probiotic cocktail with organic apple juice, fizzy water and a shot or two of microbes.

Are liquid probiotics better than pills or powders?

Yes. Liquid probiotics have advantages over pills and powder probiotics because they are easier and quicker for the body to absorb. Liquid probiotics often contain microbes that are alive which are beneficial all the way along the digestive tract, whereas the microbes in pills and powders are dormant and need to be reawakened in the intestines. Lastly pills and powders may contain added ingredients and can trigger digestive juices which contain acids that can be harmful for microbes, whereas liquid probiotics do not trigger digestion.

What is the CFU of microbz probiotics?

From previous analyses, we know there are about 5 billion microbes per dose but we can't state that as it varies. Our probiotic is not a lab-produced product, it is naturally brewed to a strict recipe and in controlled conditions and it is not possible to control exactly how the microbes decide to multiply. In addition, the exact numbers don't matter as much as the quality and diversity. The most important thing is that they survive in the digestive system and that they are welcomed by a good diet with plenty of fruit and veg fiber and good quality filtered water.

What's the shelf life?

See the sell by date on the lid of the bottle. Once opened, consume within one month.

How do I store microbz liquid probiotic?

For the microbes to perform at their best it should be consumed while at room temperature. For that reason, we recommend not storing it in the refrigerator; keep it in a temperate environment out of direct sunlight.
