Terms and conditions

1. General

We may change, move, or delete portions of, or add to, this website from time to time. All prices shown on our website are subject to change at any time.

2. Making a purchase

By placing an order, you are offering to purchase a product from us. All requests are subject to availability and confirmation of the price.

Accuracy: When making an order, you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are the authorised user of the payment method used, and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods.

Payment security: We use shopify to provide secure online payment solutions. In the event of payment being declined by your card issuer, microbz shall not be responsible for any costs or inconvenience caused by a subsequent delay in dispatch.

3. Delivery

We strive to dispatch orders promptly, but we are not responsible for delays occurring due to postal delays, courier issues, or force majeure.

We offer various shipping methods based on your location, order weight and your desired delivery speed. Rates are calculated at checkout.

Standard delivery under 3.5kg: shipped via royal mail 48-hour for £3.75. Please allow approximately four working days for delivery.

Dpd next day: available from £7.95. To qualify for next-day delivery, please place your order before 12:00 pm monday–thursday.

Note: orders placed before 12:00 pm on friday will typically be delivered on monday.

Mandatory dpd shipping: to ensure the safety and security of your items, all orders over 3.5kg must be shipped via dpd next day, starting from £7.95.

Large and liquid orders: for orders containing high liquid volumes, we reserve the right to select an alternative courier at our discretion to ensure safe transit. We will always prioritise a similar or reasonable timeframe.

Subscription shipping

We offer special shipping terms for our recurring subscribers.

You will get free delivery on your first order, and after that, for orders under 3.5kg we send these with royal mail 48-hour and for orders over 3.5kg we send these with dpd next day, and you will be charged the standard rate.

Mixed carts: if you add "one-time purchase" items to your subscription order, additional shipping charges may apply to those specific items. Free shipping only applies to the entire basket if all items are on subscription.

Management: you can adjust your next delivery date, pause, or cancel at any time via our customer portal.

Returns: you will receive an email reminder before your next payment. If you do not pause or cancel before the order is fulfilled, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the items.

International delivery

Europe: please contact our European partner, alter-entorn.

Rest of world: For delivery outside the uk and europe, please email info@microbz.co.uk with your full order details. We will provide a bespoke invoice including shipping costs and excluding vat.

Customs: customers are responsible for ensuring items comply with local regulations and for paying any excess duties. We do not take responsibility for items failing to clear customs in your specific country.

4. Discount codes and promotions

Application: codes must be entered into the "coupon code" field at checkout and applied for the discount to be deducted.

Forgotten codes: if you forget to apply your discount code at checkout, the sale is final. We are not required to refund the difference; however, you are welcome to use the code on your next eligible order.

Affiliate discounts: affiliate and referral discount codes can be used on any order at any time, but they can only be combined with our subscribe & save discount on the first order of a subscription.

Subscriptions: standard discount codes exclude subscription products unless otherwise stated. Recurring orders are subject to our subscribe and save pricing.

Exclusions: items already reduced in price are excluded from voucher offers. Only one code may be used per order.

5. Subscriptions

You can manage your subscription via your online account to change delivery details, update payment methods, or pause/cancel your plan.

Pricing: recurring orders are processed at the subscribe and save price current at the time of renewal.

Legacy pricing: if you are a legacy customer, you may currently be on an older pricing structure. Please note that if you cancel your legacy subscription, you will lose that protected price. Any new subscriptions created will be subject to our most up-to-date pricing.

6. Cancellations and refunds

This policy applies to products purchased directly from our website. If you purchased our products through a third party, please contact them directly to follow their specific returns and refund procedures.

Standard returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your experience. However, please note that once payment has been taken and your order has been fulfilled, the package is in the delivery process. If you wish to return your order after this point, you have 14 days from the date of receipt to return the items at your own cost.

To qualify for a refund:

  • Bottles must be unused and in the same condition as received.
  • The tamper-proof seal must be undamaged.

Subscription returns

Our products have a long shelf life, giving you plenty of time to use them. If you find you have more stock than needed, it means a lot to us if you can choose to keep the items rather than returning them. From a sustainability perspective, this significantly reduces the carbon footprint associated with additional transportation and logistics.

To avoid unwanted stock in the future, we recommend pausing or skipping your next subscription order through your account before it is processed. Once a subscription order has been fulfilled, it falls under our standard returns policy.

Damaged or incomplete orders

While we strive to ensure every order arrives safely, if you receive items that are damaged on arrival or find items missing, please notify us at info@microbz.co.uk or 01249 760486.

  • Reporting window: damaged or incomplete items must be reported within 7 days of receipt.
  • Evidence: you must retain all original packaging and documentation. We require photographic evidence of the damage to process a replacement or refund.
  • Exclusions: we are unable to accept claims where photographic evidence cannot be provided or where the original packaging has been discarded.

7. Legal and data protection

Data protection: microbz is a registered member of the data protection act. We only share necessary personal data with third parties (such as shopify) to facilitate your order.
