How to use

Large horse/ongoing digestive issues: mix into regular feed 100-150mls daily.

Small horse or pony: mix into regular feed 40-80mls daily.

Foals: Oral drench 50mls daily.

Can give half in the morning and half in the evening or as recommended by your practitioner.

Store at room temperature and out of direct sunlight.

All molasses are completely consumed by the microbes, leaving the final product sugar free.

FAQs

How will feeding my horse a probiotic help with their coat and hooves?

There are three kinds of bacterial microbes good, neutral and bad. Horses need a balance of these and thankfully only a few of the good bacteria are needed to keep the bad and neutral in check. As long as the balance of good, neutral and bad bacteria remains constant and the gastrointestinal tract is stable then the horse stays healthy.

Why do animals habitats also need microbes?

We don’t like chemicals and given the choice we expect our pets will feel the same. Cleaning kennels, coops, patios and other outdoor areas where urine and faeces produce smells and flies with Healthy Habitats helps reduce odours and fly infestations. Because it’s 100% natural it’s perfectly safe for your pets to walk on before it’s dried and you need not worry about them licking their paws.

Spray Healthy Habitats or Air and Fabric Freshener on your pet’s bedding to reduce odours in between washes.

Can it be used in drinking water?

Yes, Microbz can be added to drinking water. However, we recommend always providing a second source of plain water so your horse has a choice.

Can I add microbz to hot mash or boiling water?

No, avoid adding microbz to hot feed or boiling water, as high temperatures can kill off some of the beneficial microbes. Add it once the feed has cooled and is comfortable to touch.

I see it contains molasses, is this safe for my horse?

Yes, the molasses in microbz is used up during the fermentation process as food for the microbes. The result is a product with the taste and palatability of molasses, but without the high sugar content.

Can I use microbz alongside my other supplements and medications?

Microbz is completely safe to use alongside other supplements. If your horse is on medication, we recommend consulting your vet before introducing any new product, including probiotics.

I accidentally gave too much, is it harmful?

Not at all, microbz is natural and completely safe to consume. The gut will regulate what it needs, and any excess will simply pass through the system.

Can my horse have this daily?

Absolutely. While balancing microbes is especially beneficial during times of stress or dietary change, microbz can be given daily to help maintain a healthy, balanced gut and support overall wellbeing.

What makes microbz different from powdered probiotics?
