Why use a probiotic daily?

We believe that including a liquid probiotic supplement in your daily routine is important. Here’s why:

  1. Our ancestors would have ingested a lot more soil microbes in the foods that they ate before it was sanitised in the production process and this exposed us, and importantly our gut, to a lot more microbes that support a healthy functioning body.
  2. The food that we eat has fewer microbes in it and is lower in nutritional value than it was 100 years ago. This is because of changes in farming practices and an increase in the use of chemicals and pesticides which has damaged soils and the microbes in soils. Therefore it is more important to supplement regularly with probiotics.
  3. Our environment is becoming more and more oxidised and a probiotic like Sustain will help supplement your body with more antioxidants which is important for the stability of cells.
