How will probiotics help your pet?

Less stress:

Beneficial bacteria can lower levels of cortisol, known as the stress hormone, and produce feel-good chemical messengers that are calming

With a balanced belly:

For immunity from illness and more regular digestion

Happy and healthy:

Getting maximum nutrients from food, so they have plenty of energy, with glossy coats and healthy teeth. Positive microbes can support a healthy blood sugar balance and optimise digestion to ensure your pet does not gain unnecessary weight, even as they get older.

How do microbes work in animals?

Did you know that 80% of an animal’s immune system starts in the gut or more specifically the gastrointestinal tract?

Every animal has its own unique microbiome: a universe of trillions of microbes that works to maintain overall health, just like humans. This microbiome is responsible for your animal’s wellbeing, so looking after it is a big deal.

The intestines are lined with a mucous membrane, which is looked after by trillions of microbes.  This thin wall of mucous and microbes has tiny spaces which enable very small digested food particles to travel through into the bloodstream. If toxins, pathogenic bacteria and undigested food escape from the intestine and get into the bloodstream, it sets off an immune response and can cause inflammation issues such as leaky gut

Signs of an unhealthy gut

  • Food allergies and sensitivities such as itching, hot spots and skin irritations
  • Diabetes
  • Hyperactivity or anxiety
  • Weight gain
  • Poor coat quality
  • Bad breath
  • Yeast infections
  • Joint conditions and pain
  • Low energy
  • Inflammatory bowel disease, diarrhea and constipation
  • Autoimmune issues such as cancer and allergies

How to use them

Mix our Feed Material into regular feed.

Spray Healthy Habitats generously on bedding, around feeding areas, and into stables to reduce odours and flies. The good bacteria make cleaning easier too.

Starting with microbz?  Introduce the feed to any animal by starting with smaller doses until they lap it up, then increase to recommended amounts. Bear in mind it can take up to 3 months to rebalance the gut.
