Whole fruit.
Constituents (bio available chemicals):
Organic acids: (citric acid, malic acid, aspartic acid, glutamic acid). Tannins, amino acid and phenolic compounds.
Nutritional constituents:
Vitamins: C, B1 and B6. Minerals: phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium and copper.
Indications:
Heartburn, bloating of the stomach, acid reflux, stomach ulcers, morning sickness, ulcers, diarrhoea, asthma, common cold. Promotes immunity. Topically: to reduce joint inflammation and soothe eyes and heart disease.
Dosage:
Quince oil: 0.3ml 2 x daily for children exceeding 7 months of age for heartburn. 30c potency as homeopathic. Decoction: 3-12g daily.
