Alkylamides as above. Caffeic acid esters: (not echinacoside). Chicoric acid. Caftarc acid, chlorogenic and isochlorogenic acids. Flavonoids, essential oil; polysaccarides.
Nutritional constituents:
Vitamins: A, C, D, E. Minerals: iron, iodine, copper, potassium, sulphur.
Indications:
Colds and flu, respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, immune enhancing. Topically: promotes wound healing, and treatment of inflammatory skin conditions.
Dosage:
Liquid extract (1:2): 20-40ml per week. Decoction/infusion of dried herb: 0.5-1g 3 x daily.
