As long as the balance of good, neutral and bad bacteria remains constant and the gastrointestinal tract is stable then the horse stays healthy.

Modern soils and pastures lack the same natural microbial diversity that they once did. Factors such as weather changes, overgrazing and reduced plant variety mean that your horse might not be getting the full spectrum of beneficial microbes from forage alone.

Yes, the molasses in microbz is used up during the fermentation process as food for the microbes. The result is a product with the taste and palatability of molasses, but without the high sugar content.

Yes, microbz can be added to drinking water. However, we recommend always providing a second source of plain water so your horse has a choice.

No, avoid adding microbz to hot feed or boiling water, as high temperatures can kill off some of the beneficial microbes. Add it once the feed has cooled and is comfortable to touch.
