Apple Geranium

Pelargonium odoratissimum

An evergreen perennial growing to 0.3m (1ft) in height. Five delicate white petals, in bloom May to July, with aromatic frilled leaves. It is a self fertile hermaphrodite (has male and female organs).

History

In Indian mythology it is believed to be the first tree created in the universe (also attributed to Amalaki).

A-pinene, myrcene, limonene, menthone, linalool, geranyl acetate, citronellol, geraniol, geranyl butyrate.
