Amalaki

Emblica Officinalis, Amla (Hindi), Indian gooseberry.

This small to medium deciduous tree grows to 1-8m (3-26ft) in height. The leaves are simple and light-green in colour, Flowers are yellowish/green followed by its fruit of similar colour with 6 vertical stripes. The berries ripen in autumn and are harvested by hand.
